Outdoor Noise Measurement Kits
These kits offer protection against the weather for the sound
level meter and microphone.
- Lightweight Kit - Intended
for shorter term use (overnight for example) where cost and transportability
are of utmost importance.
- Heavy Duty Kit - Intended
for extended use (usually up to one week) and for very unfavourable
weather conditions.

Although these kits work with most of our sound level meters,

The kits are supplied with a 30ft (10m) microphone extension cable.
A rechargeable battery in the weatherproof box powers the sound
level meter for at least seven days.
The heavy duty kit includes
the MK:437 or MK:438 microphone system and the lightweight
kit includes the MK:429 microphone system. More information

Both systems use the microphone capsule from the sound level meter,
they are not supplied with an additional capsule.
The sound level meter can be easily lifted out of the case to
be used as a handheld instrument.
