The Model 14 Sound Level Meter is ideal for applications
where you need a quick and easy to use meter that meets
the ANSI and IEC standards to Type 2 (Class
2). The price for this meter includes
a calibration certificate and
this meter can be sent to the calibration laboratory for
annual calibration as recommended by many measurement standards.

Type 2 Sound Level Meter |
For some applications, the measurement regulations may recommend
the use of a Sound Level Calibrator. In this case, we recommend
the P106 Type 2 Calibrator, which is used for making a
quick check of the meter's performance. Order codes P14-K and P14S-K include
this calibrator.
Overview
The Model 14 is a general purpose Sound Level Meter that meets ANSI
S1.4 and IEC 60651 to Type
2. It is provided with a factory calibration certificate showing
full traceability to these standards.
This meter has been designed to be quick and easy to use. The
single button on the front of the unit selects the Max
Hold function, which will keep the highest reading on
the display. The other, less used functions, such as frequency
weighting and range, are out of the way on the side of the meter.
